3 a : highly skillful : EXPERT b : cunningly made or contrived : INGENIOUS
4 : ARTFUL, CRAFTY

Anachronism:
1 : an error in chronology; especially : a chronological misplacing of persons, events, objects, or customs in regard to each other
2 : a person or a thing that is chronologically out of place; especially : one from a former age that is incongruous in the present
3 : the state or condition of being chronologically out of place.
Based on the definition above, create a woodcut that combines a still life with an out of place element. This element should not be immediately noticeable. You will need to bring into class three or more still life items. Bottles, cups, and other household items will work well. Also, bring in a reference photo for the out of place element. You can play with things like scale, depth, overlapping, and composition to place in your element in the composition subtly.
Before creating your actual wood engraving, you will do a study on Black paper, with white chalk as preparation for your finished work.
